Higher Education and Training Deputy Minister, Dr Mimmy Gondwe, has inspired learners to consider the Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges as a beneficial and viable option for advancing their professions.
The Deputy Minister was talking through an oversight visit to your post-school education and teaching (PSET) establishments in the Western Cape this week.
Gondwe described the TVET colleges as very important for job creation and youth skills development in the nation.
The Deputy Minister visited the West Coast College Vredenburg Campus, along with the Cape Peninsula {University of Technology (CPUT) Bellville Campus in Cape Town.
Gondwe's visits directed at examining the point out of readiness of larger education institutions across the nation, forward of the 2025 academic year.
In the visit at West Coast College, she encouraged learners to just take pride in getting artisan expertise as they supply good entrepreneurship chances.
"I am very encouraged by what I'm seeing at TVET colleges, I believe they are the future of this country.
